Special Events

All media, journalism and creative writing students are invited to attend a presentation given by Raquel Caballero, author of the Published Pranks Blog.

The talk will introduce the subject of fake memoirs to the audience and will include a reading of excerpts from 3 key works of the genre and the story behind each. 

Accompanying the presentation, there will be a 5-minute creative writing exercise in keeping with the Published Pranks theme. Those unable to attend the talk can download the exercise and then upload it to this blog upon completion.

Refreshments will be provided on the night!
